In this course, students will delve into the rich history, techniques, and contemporary applications of textile arts. From traditional methods such as weaving and knitting to innovative practices like textile sculpture and hand embroidery, students will explore the diverse possibilities within this medium. Through hands-on projects, discussions, and visits to local textile studios and museums, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of fiber/textile arts and its cultural significance and more particularly in Paris.
